DUSTBALL INVITATIONAL SLO-PITCH TOURNAMENT
June 15-18, 2017

 

Softball Yukon is pleased to extend the invitation to play in the 2017 Dustball Slo-pitch Tournament. This event will be played at the PEPSI SOFTBALL CENTRE in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Dustball 2017 will be limited to 72 teams (24 Men’s teams, 12 Women’s teams and 36 Co-ed teams). As each division is filled a waiting list will be compiled and if a division does not fill, efforts will be made to add the teams on the waiting list.

Registration will be on a “first come-first served basis” – a team will not be considered registered unless Softball Yukon is in receipt of the entry fee and a completed registration form. Softball Yukon reserves the right to place teams in an appropriate division of play based on past results from Dustball and current seeding information provided by your local Softball Associations.

Dustball 2017 will begin Thursday, June 15, at 6:15 PM, and the final games will be completed by approximately 3:00 PM Sunday, June 18. ALL OUT OF TOWN TEAMS MUST BE READY TO PLAY NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, June 16 AT 7:00 AM.

Men’s Slo-pitch (A, B, C)

Women’s Slo-pitch (A, B, C)

Co-Ed Slo-pitch (A, B, C, D)

FORMAT:

Men’s  “A”   “B”   “C”    

  • All Men’s teams will go into pools for seeding
  • The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”
  • The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”
  • The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”

Women’s  “A”   “B”   ”C”

  • All Women’s teams will go into pools for seeding
  • The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”
  • The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”
  • The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”

Co-ed   “A”   “B”   “C”  “D”

  • All Co-ed teams will go into pools for seeding
  • The top team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “A”
  • The second team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “B”
  • The third team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “C”
  • The fourth team in each round robin pool will go into the double elimination for “D”.

NOTE: ALL DIVISIONS WILL PLAY A GUARANTEED FINAL.

ENTRY FEES AND DEADLINES:

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

The early bird fee is $350.00 Canadian. The fee and the completed registration form must be received by May 12, 2017.

ENTRY FEE MAY BE PAID BY CHEQUE, MONEY ORDER OR CREDIT CARD.

FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE

Entry after the early bird deadline will be $400.00 Canadian. The fee and the completed registration form must be received by May 26, 2017.

ENTRY FEE MAY BE PAID BY CHEQUE, MONEY ORDER OR CREDIT CARD. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL.

SCHEDULES:
